Nicolas Moore

Nick commenced with CDQ as a Law Graduate in February 2005 working with Director, Timothy Daley in the Commercial Litigation Department and continued working in that department subsequent to his admission as a Solicitor later that year.

In 2021, Nick became an Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates Law with the NSW Law Society, which reflects both the depth of his experience and his comprehensive understanding of this complex field of law.  He is the Team Leader of CDQ's Wills & Estates Department and advises clients in Estate Administration and Planning. In this capacity, Nick acts for both executors and beneficiaries on all aspects of estate administration, including applications for Probate and Letters of Administration and acting for claimants and executors concerning challenges to Wills (or defence to challenges) under the “Family Provision” division of the Succession Act.

Nick is experienced in preparing Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Enduring Guardianship.

Nick leads the Wills & Estates Team, and is an experienced solicitor working in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Criminal Law. In this capacity Nick provides advice and representation to clients across a broad spectrum of areas, and in particular those charged with serious criminal offences.

In addition, Nick has wide-ranging expertise in property law, acting for clients in the purchase and sale of both residential and commercial property, retail and commercial leasing and property development.
